Our Latina Leadership Circle (LLC) is the first in our leadership development series. This series helps women to take a deeper critical look at our lives, evaluating if we are truly where we would like to be personally and professionally. We examine the roles and responsibilities placed on us because of others’ expectations of us, which may have led us to a life we may have never planned for ourselves had we not been conditioned to abide by what others expect of us.

Our LLC has been offered several times throughout Yakima County and the women attending our classes build a strong sisterhood of support, think more critically about their decision-making, develop a new vision for their lives, and feel more confident about their own conceived roles for themselves. Many of the women even bring their daughters to class so they too can experience an awakening.
